The things they say.

We were getting ready for bed tonight... Riley had her new Dora doll ready to share the bedroom with her and her sister. We asked her what she would do if she saw Swiper in the room trying to swipe her Dora doll. The expected response, for those that don't have little girls, is "Swiper no swiping!!" Riley's response, "OH SH@&!!"

Riley and Hayden had some fun in the leaves and Keegan is getting accustomed to advertising for the 'Good Guys'.

Ready for snow.

Well the girls are ready for snow even if it isn't here yet. Apparently they were bored, so obviously a way to fill the hours of the day is to try on snow suits.

Fun in the corn

There is a corn maze that opened this week-end. It is up around New Town St. Charles. It is a family run 10-acre patch that they grid out right after they plant the corn. Then after the corn
gets a foot high or so, they mow it a couple times to produce a big train like pattern. It was fun for Riley Ann and her good friend Connor, but not much fun for the parents when you have a stroller. It would be a real good time with parents only or kids 2+ years old. But all the kids enjoyed the 'corn box' at the end...and the small petting zoo.

Dog days of Summer

Riley got a new bike, so Hayden has to learn to ride the tricycle to keep up. Tiffany got a hamster, and Keegan is over 17 pounds.

Look what we caught ma!

We shut them in the garage all night. Used a small log roller to grab them and get them in the cage. Hayden thinks they are ill-tempered puppies.

New Car

Angie got a Barbie Jeep . Riley has giving it gas down, but hasn't figured out the concept of turning. Hayden looks very natural being chaffered around.

Independence Day 2007

Angie took the older three to her mothers annual work party. They have a petting zoo, rides, food and lots of fireworks. It didn't look like Riley was a fan of the explosions at first.

How are smart are two year olds?

Well I must say a lot smarter than I would have thought!! For the past couple of months Riley seems to think that Band-aids fix everything, so she has been going through about 10 a day...Well Jason and I said she could not have a Band-aid unless she was bleeding, so today she comes up to me and says "Mom I need a Band-aid for my boo boo" and once again I remind her of our new rule.. so I few seconds go by and here she comes again saying "I Band-aid, boo boo, I bleeding" I said "No Riley you are not bleeding and no Band-aid" Well she pulled up her pants leg with so much pride and said "look I bleed" She had went and found a red marker and colored blood on her boo boo.. She did not get the Band-aid, but she did get a good try from Mom!! All the while Hayden is in her shadow taking notes for later down the road! So never under estimate a two year old!

Keegan is home now.

Well it was a very unique experience for us to bring a boy home and within a couple days of giving birth. He only lost 2oz while in the hospital, so he is feeding well. Angie is recovering well and we are excited about taking care of five little ones.
