This is our last first birthday. Ana Raines took some great pictures of Keegan devouring his cake. She has a great eye for taking portraits. They can be found here.

We felt the quake last night. We being Tiffany and I. Everyone else slept through it.
Wasn't very intense at all, actually I thought I was dreaming or had a bad fever, until Tiffany came down stairs, freaked out. But I had no idea what it was until watching the news. We felt the aftershock at 10:00 as well, both at the house and work.
Felt a bit like being on open water.
Here is a link to a site that monitors earthquakes throughout the world. Pretty interesting.

This is Angie's first time shooting a .40 cal. It had a little more kick than the .22 she was used to.

He sat amazingly still and didn't cry a bit, it was his 5th cut, first time with the clippers. Riley was down stairs while we were doing this... when she came up and saw how much we took off, she cried like we had horribly disfigured him. Through the tears, she begged us to 'put it back!'

The dude can hold his own bottle with one hand! If it looks like Angie is bottle feeding a three year old, it is because he is only 4 lbs lighter than Riley.

We were getting ready for bed tonight... Riley had her new Dora doll ready to share the bedroom with her and her sister. We asked her what she would do if she saw Swiper in the room trying to swipe her Dora doll. The expected response, for those that don't have little girls, is "Swiper no swiping!!" Riley's response, "OH SH@&!!"

It was 71 earlier this week! This snow is too deep for Hayden to get around in, but everyone else is enjoying their snow day.

We have done a lot of interior improvements so we started on the nasty exterior. We hired Cardinal Home Improvements out of St. Peters. They have done a fantastic job and hired a great crew to do the job.

I would like to thank my Husband Jason for all his hard work and effort he has put in for our new
kitchen!! Jason has worked countless hours getting it done fast so we did not have to go without a kitchen for long.
Jason has done a wonderful job and put up with me going behind him with a level and "fine tuning" things ;) LOVE YA HONEY!!! I am so very proud of him I could not have asked for a better Husband and Father!! We made it to the end of our kitchen project with smiles on our face!
Lots of people thought we were nuts to take this on with five kids under the roof and thinking I was nuts for giving up a vacation to do this. But this has truly been a bonding experience for us. Jason has learned to just say "Yes Honey your right it does looks better that way".
Now trust me there were a few times while we were in the middle of this I would picture us laying on the beach without kids under our feet enjoying a nice cold drink soaking up the rays.. I was always soon brought back to reality with the sound of kids needing or breaking something!! :)
Jason Honey, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and LOVE all the work you have done!! You are an amazing guy!! Oh yeah married to an amazing woman!!
Don't worry Honey we have lots of years ahead of us to take that vacation!!!!!
